WeddiPass (weddipass.com) is operated by VenueClick Tecnología, Eventos y Marketing SpA, a company incorporated in Chile (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it, in accordance with Chilean Law No. 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life and other applicable regulations.
1. Data we collect
- Data you give us: name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, wedding date, destination, number of guests, budget and any other details you share through our contact or proposal forms, newsletter sign-up, email or WhatsApp.
- Data collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and actions on the site (e.g. form submissions, clicks on WhatsApp), collected through cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API.
2. How we use it
- To answer your inquiries and prepare wedding proposals.
- To send our newsletter and updates, only if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time from the link in each email).
- To measure and improve our website and advertising, including showing relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that help us operate:
- Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram) – advertising measurement and audiences.
- Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) – email and newsletter delivery.
- WhatsApp – when you choose to contact us through it.
- Our website hosting provider, and venues or wedding suppliers only when you ask us to coordinate your event with them.
Some of these providers are located outside Chile (e.g. the United States), so your data may be transferred internationally under their own security and privacy safeguards.
4. Cookies
We use our own and third-party cookies (including the Meta Pixel) for analytics and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences.
5. Data retention
We keep your data while we are in contact about your event and for up to 3 years afterwards, or longer if the law requires it. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, deletion or blocking of your personal data, and object to its use for marketing, by writing to virginia@weddipass.com. We will reply within the legal deadlines.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss or unauthorized access.
8. Minors
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date.
